The M4-2000 is a physically small, light-weight, fast-attach silencer intended for deployment on the 5.56mm assault rifles. Durably constructed of welded 304 series stainless steel and Inconel, the CAD-designed, CNC machined M4-2000 delivers world-class sound suppression under sustained full auto fire. The M4-2000 attaches to a replacement flash suppressor, and can be installed or removed in less than 3 seconds. The mounting system utilized on the M4-2000 contains no moving parts, and suffers from none of the accuracy degradation or carbon binding problems common with other systems on the market today. The light-weight and low profile design of the M4-2000 adds only 5.0″ in length to the host firearm and does not interfere with the overall weapon balance or the mounting of accessory hardware. Replacement flash suppressors are available for the AR-15/M-16 series of assault rifles, Ruger AC-556, HK-33, G-36, G-36K, G-36C, and Steyr AUG.

Deputy Doug –
If you are building a clone rifle of an early 2010s military or law enforcement setup, the M4-2000 is a historical necessity. It has immense “street cred” from its extensive use downrange by tier-one units back in the day. It handles recoil beautifully, acts as a great muzzle-weight balancer, and looks fantastic on a classic quad-rail carbine.

This stops the latch from grinding down prematurely.

This is my second AAC can, and the 51T mount is excellent as long as you follow one simple rule: don’t just mindlessly zip it on and off, or you will eventually wear down the teeth on the latch. Hold down the QD button while threading the can all the way down onto the taper, then release it for the final 1 or 2 clicks to lock it tight. This keeps the latch sharp and completely prevents the infamous “AAC wobble.”

There is a reason the M4-2000 was the industry performance standard for a decade. The muzzle suppression on a 14.5″ or 16″ AR is phenomenal—it completely deletes the concussive blast of 5.56 NATO. Even side-by-side with modern cans, the decibel reduction at the muzzle is incredibly impressive. It gives a very deep, satisfying tone.

The lockup is incredibly fast and secure.
Big Lou –
It is full-auto rated and practically indestructible. If you want a duty-grade silencer that can take severe abuse, this is it.
